Do not dry your shoes near a heat source after a rainy day. The remains of mud will be removed with a damp sponge.

When the shoe is made of leather and it is dry, apply a thin layer of cream with a cloth, and it will be spread with a horse bristle brush. When the shoe is made of textile or satin and it is dry, if there is any stain left, try clean with spot remover or acetone.

Use a quality cream or bitumen for cleaning

Both products are equally effective for this task, getting the bitumen, if possible, a little more shine during brushing.

The golden rule would be the application of a small amount of product with a used cloth, the immediate brushing and the final finish with a chamois. For a high gloss or glasage finish, slightly moisten the cloth with a few drops of water.

The sweat produced by the foot takes more than 24 hours to evaporate from the shoe; an excess of accumulated moisture will contribute to the formation of cracks in the skin when it dries.

We recommend that you use your Pepe Milán every other day and, although our shoes are really resistant to everything, they will thank you.
